Learning how to stop thinking from the heart and feeling from the brain.

Something I didn’t wanna talk about

I always used to stray away from talking about how I’m an avid gamer.

If you’re an entrepreneur, you’ll know.

Or even if you’re into self-improvement.

People our kind are really protective about their habits.

We have ambitions and to achieve those we need to hustle.

Gaming never really fit into the idea of that.

And I wanted to identify as an entrepreneur who is also into self-improvement.

I denied myself of being a gamer.

Because gaming is just for entertainment. It doesn’t solve any purpose. It doesn’t fit into the idea I had in my head.

At least that’s what the entrepreneur in me thought.

But what does it have to do with finding your PASSION?

All of my 2 readers know how passionate about the subject of passion.

And almost all my articles are somehow related to it.

Today, I was thinking about how we often keep saying that we need breaks.

Let’s break down ‘breaks.’

Read along if the following is true for you:

  1. You are working in a job.
  2. There is a boss or bosses that you report to.
  3. You wait for the weekends.
  4. You dread Mondays.
  5. You need an alarm to wake up.

If none of it is true for you, this post might not motivate you enough, but it’s always good to reassure… so read along!

So, tell me this:

The entrepreneurial age has us taking risks we don’t have to, leave jobs we don’t hate and making money we don’t need.

Don’t get me wrong. Risk-taking is necessary.

If you want to do anything worthwhile in life, taking risks is necessary.

It’s logical:

What you want to accomplish, requires you to give up something else in order to accomplish it. In that way, you are risking leaving that something else.

If you want to be a software engineer, you have to risk all other interests in order to pursue this dream of yours.

But, let’s talk entrepreneurship — the biggest risk-taking platform.

Now we know that being a successful entrepreneur means doing things whose path isn’t well worn yet.

Which means…

Have you ever thought — “It's 2021! Where are the flying cars?”

What if I tell you flying cars already exist?

They’ve existed since 1903.

They’re called aeroplanes.

Innovators do not try to improve upon the FORM.

Innovators improve upon the FUNCTION.

We are so stuck on the form of a car that we do not see that the function of a flying car has already been solved.

If you are trying to innovate, then start thinking about how you can improve the function rather than the form.

How do you do start thinking of the function?

Start thinking in first principles.

I mean, wouldn’t things be so much simpler and efficient if we stopped needing to be so pampered by everyone all the damn time.

Take, for example, a content writer at one of the companies I’m coaching.

I told her that she needed to write better headlines that were closer to our goal.

This particular company’s goal with its content is to provide relevant fitness information to people. They could use information in their day-to-day life and eventually consider buying our services if they wish to.

This is what the conversation went like-

Me: We need to improve our headlines.

This is the story of how I was richer than 99% of the human population for 165 days.

How It Started

In the summer of 2015, my best friend and I had gone for lunch in a local restaurant. Little did I know I was about to be served the most life-changing dish ever.

We were both 18, back home for our college vacations. “Life has been different.” — this was common to both of us.

For him, it was the college experience. For me, it was dropping out of a ‘prestigious’ university and not telling anyone about it. (but that’s a story for another day.)

Since dropping out, I was looking for ways to earn more than I would have…

Not knowing this can cost you 1000s of wasted hours and keep you away from your goals forever.

Goal setting is straightforward, right?

  1. Pick a goal.
  2. Choose when you want to achieve it.
  3. Go at it with full force.
  4. Don’t be distracted.

It seems easy — put in the work and resist temptations.

Should be a cakewalk, you think. But, when you act out your plan, you soon realize the problem.

Kanye West (probably) thinking how easy it is to be President.

The first week probably goes well. It’s challenging — you almost give up a couple of times — but you somehow manage to hold on. You don’t let your limbic (emotional) brain win. You tend to stick to the plan. Then one day, the plan BREAKS APART!

Ideas To Help You Knock Out That Stress

If you feel stressed out, strung out, or just plain fed up, then keep reading this article for advice on how you can deal with the things that are currently giving you that stress, and ways that you can avoid stress in the rest of your life. There are plenty of things you can do.

1. Avoid factory farmed meats, eggs and dairy products.

These products are filled with adrenaline due to the horrible cruelty experienced by the animals. Excess adrenaline will raise your levels of the stress hormone, Cortisol. This will cause you to experience excess stress levels, decreasing your level of overall health and happiness.

2. Create a Scrapbook

Stop feeding your EGO. You’re losing yourself in the process.

Everyone is a victim of life. Everyone has gone through something that they didn’t want to. Everyone would rather have it better than they already do.

All the standards that you’ve set in your mind that you relate with an IDEAL/BETTER life are inherently flawed.

  • People with a lot of money are better off? Financially, yes! But, do they have time for friends and family?
  • People with a lot of friends are better off? They’re extroverted, yes! But, do they have real friends?
  • People with a silver spoon are better off? They’re born with more ‘wants’ fulfilled, yes! …

A girl once asked her fiancé.

Her: Tell me… whom do you love most on earth?
Him: You, obviously!
Her: In your heart, what am I to you?
He (thinking for a moment then looked intently in her eyes): You are my rib. In the Bible, it was announced that God saw that Adam was lonely during his sleep; so God plucked one of Adam’s rib and made Eve. It is believed that every man has been since looking for his missing bone. …
